About Bailey Solutions 

Founded in 2002, Bailey Solutions offers a suite of cost-effective library management systems (LMS) that can be hosted in the cloud or on your own servers. Our  library software is designed by a library consultant for today's information professionals, making it suitable for the management of print and electronic library resources.

We aim to help you:

  • Reduce the time you spend on library administration by at least 25%
  • Get out from behind the desk to help your users achieve their goals
  • Make it easy for users to help themselves - the online Web OPAC that is as simple to use as a website

Bailey Solutions also offers KnowAll LMS for larger libraries and Enquire to manage in-bound enquiries.

Simple Little Library System history

In the late 1990s, Penny developed her first library system, PenLib, because she was frustrated by the user experience of the existing library management systems she came across. Most were built for large academic and public libraries so Penny developed PenLib for small libraries.

Launched in 2016, Simple Little Library System is a re-write of PenLib using modern browser based technology. So all the library software packages are fully responsive for mobiles, tablets, laptops and computers.

Simple Little Library System retains all the loved features of PenLib and adds new functionality combined with a fresh new intuitive user interface.
